Tick the items required on the repeat list found on the right hand side of your last prescription and post through the letterbox in the back door of the surgery.

You can apply to register for online services so you can order your repeat prescriptions online. Please visit the surgery with photographic ID and we can get you set up.

Help with NHS costs

In England, around 90% of prescription items are dispensed free. This includes exemptions from charging for those on low incomes, such as:

• those on specific benefits or through the NHS Low Income Scheme
• those who are age exempt
• those with certain medical conditions

Please note this fee is paid to the surgery but is then deducted from the payment made to the Practice from NHS England for supplying this service. Thus the Practice makes no money from charging for Prescriptions.

These following charges apply for Prescriptions if you are not exempt from paying Prescription charges. With effect from 1/4/21

• Prescription (per item): £9.65
• 12-month prepayment certificate (PPC): £111.60
• 3-month PPC: £31.25

If you will have to pay for four or more prescription items in three months or more than 14 items in 12 months, you may find it cheaper to buy a PPC.
