COVID 19 & FLU UPDATES

Covid Vaccine - We are currently inviting into Waddington the age group 55 to 59 but hopefully from week commencing 15/3/21 we will be able to invite in the age group 50 to 54.

We also hope soon to invite the patients who had their first vaccination in January. Please do not contact us we will ring you when we know when the clinics are setup.

If you are over 60 and have not been invited in for a Covid vaccination and wish to have one please contact the surgery

If you have had your first vaccination at somewhere else other than Waddington, the current guidelines state that you have to have your second dose at the same place.

For Information the Waddington Surgery is situated on the Crossroads in the village of Waddington. The post code is LN5 9NX and the surgery is on Mere Road, Waddington. There is plenty of Car parking at the surgery and has Disabled access and the use of a wheelchair if required.

If you are given the Pfizer vaccine you will have to wait 15 minutes at the surgey after being given the vaccine. If you are given the Astra Zeneca vaccine then you will only need to stay 15 minutes if you are driving.

If you cannot get to Waddington due to the fact you are housebound then we will put you on a list to be contacted when we have the vaccine that can be transported to patients homes.

FLU CAMPAIGN FOR 50 TO 64 YEAR OLD - We are now able to offer the Flu vaccine to those patients aged 50 to 64 who do not have a long term condition. Please contact the surgery to arrange to have this important vaccination.
